I read once, I don't remember where - To be homosexual
is to be an accomplished liar.
I think that's wrong.
To be gay...
Really gay.
I'm talking Queer as Folk gay.
To be that gay requires telling
the ultimate truth.
And that's a truth a lot of people
don't want to hear.
Better, it's thought to...
hide in plain sight.
Yes.
Better to -
Roll on the down low
Go Brokeback
Pull a Ted Haggard
than to tell the truth
if that truth
is homosexuality.
It would seem that what you do behind
closed doors is your own business.
It's all good.
So long as you keep up appearances.
Dishonest?
Maybe.
But there are no hurt feelings that way.
Or so
the thinking goes.
They say a picture is worth
a thousand words.
That whould make this short film
pretty damn valuable.
